Lovely enamel work. Measures 2 3/4". Simple, early "C" clasp. Dark purple and green Colorado columbine flowers and stems (Colorado State flower) below the elk. The bottom piece is imprinted GOLDEN JUBILEE in a banner. Marked MFGD FOR SAMMAYERDENVER (Sam Mayer Denver) BY ROBBINS ATTLEBORO. The badge is in very good condition with a little sign of wear including some slight darkening or tarnishing of the metal. The enamel is intact with no chipping, cracking, or peeling. The embossed and gilt letters are all clear and easy to read. The badge came from a Denver area estate sale.
