Early Fraternal Order of the Elks Pocketwatch Fob, Dated and Numbered ~ 1909 $85.00 shipping INCLUDED (US Only) 1909 Fraternal Order of Eagles medal and fob. This piece is 5-3/4" long and 1-1/8" wide. Silver plated metal with a spring-loaded watch hook at the top and four links hanging down. The links have very nicely detailed scenes. The top link shows a scene entitled "Boulder on Rollstone Hill". The second link shows the "Wallace Library" with a roundel that is marked "Fitchburg * A town Feb. 3, 1764 * A City Mar. 8, 1872". The third link has an "F.O.E." emblem in the center flanked by the letters L J T E. The bottom link is in the shape of an eagle and is marked "Fraternal Order of Eagles" on the front and "N. E. Field Day Assoc'n. Fitchburg, Mass. June 24, 1909" above the number 1328. The top link also has a C clasp and pin on the back, and all the links have tiny "Whitehead & Hoag" makers marks on the backs. This nice antique fob / medal is in very good condition with no damage, a nice old patina, and only some expected minor wear to the finish in spots. |
