Chilling National Socialist Propaganda Desk Ornament ~ ca. 1935 $320 shipped, (U.S. Only) Chilling and cruelly ironic piece of Nazi propaganda. This desk ornament was recovered from a Nazi gauleiter's (mayor's) office by a Red Cross official at the end of the war. It is a paperweight, cast on a red marble base and with a nickel silver wash over the design. Original felt on base. Loosely translates to: "Everyone gives, No One is Cold, No One is Hungry." If only they had lived up to those promises.
