APPRAISALS We get about 20 requests for appraisals per day. We will provide comparative price appraisals with proof of a recent sale of an item like yours or reasonably similar for $50 per item, payable in advance and we'll WAIVE this fee if you CONSIGN the item with us. CONSIGNMENTSIn appreciation of the seemingly bottomless demand for fine things Antiqueswest has begun taking unique and authentic items on CONSIGNMENT and we are currently auctioning items at the request of their owners. We tried this on a limited basis late last year and sold numerous pieces of fine art and high-end Militaria for appreciative users. Cutting to the chase: We will host quality items for a flat $25 listing fee and 10 percent of the final sale price. No need to host that maddening garage sale (been to one lately? Not a very happy affair) or pay upwards of 20 percent and a host of other fees at a "brick and mortar" auction room. Give us a call at the numbers given and we'll fill you in.
